The Bioheat® Logos
HOW WE TACKLED THE BRIEF GIVEN TO US
Brief
Clean Fuels Alliance America asked us to help expand the Bioheat® brand with a suite of logos that would serve to distinguish different blend levels. While all bio-blends (B2-B99) can utilize the officially trademarked Bioheat® logo (pictured left), fuel marketers introducing higher blends now differentiate themselves with Bioheat® Plus (B20+) and Bioheat® Superplus (B50+). Our task was to help them to do that visually.
Deliverables
Altering an existing logo is often times more difficult than starting from scratch – particularly when the original design isn’t going anywhere. The added elements need to be cohesive yet distinguishable, declarative yet subtle. It’s been reaffirming to hear from a few folks in the industry that once they acclimated to the new logos, it were as if the original design was missing something. From our view, there could be no better compliment.
Results
Today, you can find the Bioheat® logos on websites and fuel delivery trucks all across the northeast – and that’s good news for everyone.
